Two Cottages, Not One Big House.
Most group accommodation is one large house: one kitchen, one schedule and no escape from the washing-up debate.
The Entire Getaway gives your group two front doors instead, with the pool, patios and garden shared only between you. The person turning 70 gets a peaceful cottage and an early night while the games carry on next door, and all four bedrooms are on the ground floor.

A good fit if…
You’re planning a relaxed birthday, anniversary, reunion or family gathering where the focus is time together, countryside views, the pool, hot tubs and enough space for everyone to breathe.
It also works well for dog-owning families, with up to 4 dogs welcome by prior arrangement when both cottages are booked together.
Before you book
The Entire Getaway sleeps up to 9 across two separate cottages. There isn’t one large indoor dining table for all 9 guests, so it works best for relaxed groups who are happy to use both cottages rather than gather around one formal table for every meal.
Quiet hours are 10pm-8am and we’re not suitable for loud parties, stag or hen weekends.

Can we celebrate a birthday here?
A relaxed birthday gathering, yes. A loud party, no. Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am, and we are not suitable for stag weekends, hen weekends or noisy group stays.
Can daytime guests join us?
Sometimes, with our prior agreement. Please ask before you book and tell us who would be visiting, how many people, and when. Day visitors cannot use the swimming pool or hot tubs.
Can all nine of us eat together?
Not around one indoor dining table. Fig Tree seats up to five and Laurel seats up to four, so meals here tend to be relaxed rather than formal. Most groups gather in one cottage for drinks and easy meals, use the patios and garden in warmer weather and spread out between the two cottages when they want a bit more room.
Can we arrange a caterer or private chef?
Possibly, but only with our prior written permission. Please ask before you book, so we can check the details properly. We are a small self-catering site, not an events venue with an open supplier policy.
Can we decorate the cottage?
Yes. Banners, balloons and flowers are all welcome. Please avoid anything that marks the walls and no candles inside the cottages or pool building.
Should we book one cottage or both?
Fig Tree sleeps up to five guests and Laurel sleeps up to four. For six or more, or whenever you want the pool exclusively yours, book The Entire Getaway.
Is the pool private for our celebration?
If you book The Entire Getaway, yes, the pool is exclusively yours for the whole stay. If you book one cottage, the pool is shared only with the other cottage, never the public.
Is it suitable for grandparents and young children together?
Yes – there are ground-floor bedrooms throughout, a warm indoor pool and two separate cottages, so early bedtimes and later card games can coexist.
