Meals & Gathering
Together when you want to be
There isn’t one indoor table that seats nine. Instead, each cottage has its own dining space, with Fig Tree seating up to five and Laurel seating up to four. Many groups use one cottage as the main gathering point for drinks, games and planning the next day, then spread back out when they want more space.
In warmer weather, the patios and garden give you more room to gather outside, with both hot tubs close by and the pool just across the courtyard.

Yours, & Only Yours
Book The Entire Getaway and our 11-metre indoor pool is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. No time slots, no sharing and no waiting around: just step into the warm pool room whenever it suits your group, day or night.
Heated to a comfortable 28-29°C, it is a proper swimming pool that can turn a wet Welsh afternoon into one of the best parts of the trip. Because it is fully indoors, it gives you a reliable year-round option, whether you are visiting in January or July.
It works especially well for families, early risers, rainy days and confident swimmers who prefer warm, indoor water to beaches, lakes or weather-dependent plans.
Two Hot Tubs, One View
An acre of open air
Beyond the patios, the one-acre garden stretches across level lawn, with views over the Conwy Valley to the Carneddau range beyond. When you book The Entire Getaway, that outdoor space is for your group alone.
There are no internal fences between the cottage patios or lawn areas. This is intentional: it keeps the sightlines open, so you can sit with a morning coffee and still see across to the far end of the garden.
Up to four dogs are welcome across the two cottages (£35 per dog per stay). The boundary is rural stock fencing, but the driveway gate onto the lane stays open, so the garden is not fully enclosed. Dogs who wander, chase, or need secure containment should be supervised closely or kept on a lead outside.

“Comfy beds, loads of space outside with 2 hot tubs and a pool to boot – and the location is just stunning.”

In the heart of the valley
High above the valley floor, with farmland falling away below and the Carneddau filling the horizon, Fig Tree and Laurel sit in proper countryside. Quiet lanes and dark skies give the setting its sense of escape, but the location still works well for a group stay.
Bodnant Garden is close by, Conwy and Betws-y-Coed are easy drives in opposite directions, and Llandudno, the coast and the northern edge of Eryri are all within reach for day trips. You’ll need a car, but the trade-off is a peaceful base where everyone can slow down without feeling cut off.

Your questions answered
Is The Entire Getaway one house or two cottages?
Two. Fig Tree and Laurel are neighbouring cottages around a shared courtyard, attached but not internally connected. Each has its own front door, kitchen, living space, bathroom and hot tub.
Is the pool really private when we book both cottages?
Yes. With The Entire Getaway there are no other guests on site, so the heated indoor pool is exclusively yours, 24 hours a day, for the whole stay.
Can all nine of us eat together?
Not around one indoor table. Fig Tree seats up to five and Laurel up to four, so most groups gather in one cottage for drinks and relaxed meals, use the patios and garden in warmer weather and spread out the rest of the time.
Is it suitable for older relatives and young children?
Both cottages are single level with all bedrooms on the ground floor, which suits less mobile guests, though they are not fully wheelchair-accessible. The pool room can be locked, cots and high chairs are available and the pool is heated year round. Pool entry is by ladder steps, with no hoist or level access.
How many dogs can we bring?
Up to four across the two cottages, £35 per dog per stay. The garden is shared between the two cottages and bordered by rural stock fencing, but the driveway gate remains open and the patios are unfenced, so keep escape artists on a lead outside.
Is it suitable for celebrations?
Yes, for the quiet kind: milestone birthdays, anniversaries and reunions. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am and we are not the right fit for loud parties or stag and hen weekends. See our Special Occasions page for planning an occasion here.
