Finding Us
Rural without being Remote.
Directions, parking and practical travel information for reaching the cottages.

The Conwy Valley puts you at the centre of North Wales without placing you in the middle of it. Mountains, coast, market towns and quiet countryside - all within easy reach, none of it on your doorstep uninvited.

Getting Here by Car
We're easiest to find if you follow the directions below rather than relying solely on sat nav.
From the North (A55 / Colwyn Bay)
- Leave the A55 at Junction 19 and follow the A470 south, signposted Bodnant Garden and Betws-y-Coed
- After approximately 4 miles, turn left opposite The Tal-y-Cafn onto Ffordd Penrhyd, then left again at the next junction
- Follow the cycle signs, then turn right onto Ffordd Llyn Syberi
- Follow this single-track road for approximately 2 miles – we’re signposted “The Granary Holiday Cottages” on your right
From the South & East (A5 / Betws-y-Coed)
- Take the A470 north through Llanrwst, continuing towards Llandudno Junction
- After approximately 8 miles, turn sharp right onto an unnamed single-track road – look for the red post box and yellow grit container on the corner
- Follow this road uphill for approximately 1.5 miles, passing a reservoir entrance on your left
- We’re the first property on your left on a bend, signposted “The Granary Holiday Cottages”
Getting here
Parking & Public Transport
Parking
Each cottage has two dedicated parking spaces. Fig Tree is approximately 25m from its parking area via a level route over part slate and part paved surface. Laurel is approximately 10m from its parking area via compacted gravel. Temporary parking is also available in the courtyard for unloading.
We also have an on-site EV charging point if you’re arriving by electric vehicle.
Public Transport
The cottages are in a rural location with no reliable local bus service, so a car is strongly recommended. If you're travelling by train, the nearest station is Llandudno Junction, approximately 9 miles away and around 25 minutes by taxi.
We’re happy to suggest local taxi companies if needed – just get in touch before your stay.
