Fresh Water

Step outside. The mountains are always there.
Each hot tub sits just outside its cottage, looking out across the Conwy Valley to the Carneddau range beyond.
In winter, steam rises from the water while snow settles on the peaks above. In summer, the valley turns gold in the evening light. Spring brings birdsong and the lambs that appear in the fields below. Autumn frames everything in copper and amber.
Sit back and you have nothing but sky. Sit up and the whole valley opens out in front of you.
The tubs are available year-round, day and night. No time limits, no booking slots. Just step outside when you’re ready. And if you’re looking for an indoor swim to go with your evening soak, the heated indoor pool is a few steps away.

Using the Hot Tubs
Your questions answered
Is the hot tub private to my cottage?
Yes. Each cottage has its own private hot tub on its own patio. Fig Tree guests use the Fig Tree hot tub and Laurel guests use the Laurel hot tub. They are never shared between cottages or with the public. If you book both cottages as The Entire Getaway, the two hot tubs are yours.
What are the hot tub's opening hours?
There are none. Your hot tub is available 24 hours a day throughout your stay, with no booking slots or time limits. Use it whenever suits you.
What temperature is the water?
The hot tub is maintained at 38°C throughout your stay.
Is the hot tub ready when we arrive?
Almost always. The hot tub is emptied, sanitised and refilled before every arrival and is up to temperature for the vast majority of guests. On the rare occasion it needs a little longer to heat up, it will be ready within a few hours.
Can children use the hot tub?
Children under 4, or anyone unable to keep their head above the water when seated, must not use the hot tubs. Children aged 4 to 15 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Please limit each soak to 15 minutes.
