The Setup at a Glance
They sit side by side around a shared courtyard, with their own front doors, kitchens, living spaces and private hot tubs. The indoor pool is just across the courtyard. Beyond the patios, there’s an acre of shared garden and views across the Conwy Valley towards Eryri.
The setup is simple: space to gather, space to split off and enough separation for different households to keep their own rhythm.

When you book The Entire Getaway, the heated indoor pool is exclusively yours: no time slots, no strangers and no need to plan around the weather.
It gives mixed-age groups an easy shared focus: somewhere warm, indoors and right across the courtyard.

Evenings Sorted
There is no waiting and no compromise. Both hot tubs are set to 38°C year-round and both look out across the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau.
Once younger children are settled, adults from both cottages can use the tubs simultaneously, enjoy their own space, or gather together on one patio.
No queueing, no negotiating, no one waiting for their turn.
Single-Storey Comfort
Both Fig Tree and Laurel are single-storey throughout, with no internal steps. The living spaces are open-plan and parking is close to each cottage entrance.
For mixed-age groups, that matters. Grandparents are not dealing with stairs, parents of young children have one less thing to think about and guests with limited mobility can check the practical detail before booking.

Is the Entire Getaway Right for your Group?
It suits groups who want:
- space for grandparents, parents and children
- two households travelling together
- different bedtimes, routines or noise levels

- one large communal living room
- a single indoor dining table for the whole group

Worth knowing before you book
Layout
Fig Tree and Laurel sit side by side, but they are not internally connected. You move between them outside, either through the shared courtyard or along the covered verandah that runs across the back of both cottages.
Group size
The maximum occupancy is nine guests, plus up to two infants in travel cots: Fig Tree sleeps five and Laurel sleeps four. Travel cots are available on request, please bring your own cot bedding.
Dining
Each cottage has its own dining table, seating five in Fig Tree and four in Laurel. There is no single indoor table where all nine guests can eat together.
Pool use
When both cottages are booked together as The Entire Getaway, the indoor pool is exclusively for your group.
Your questions answered
Are there stairs inside the cottages?
No. Fig Tree and Laurel are both single-storey throughout, with no internal steps. Parking is close to each cottage entrance. Shower trays, baths, hot tubs and the pool ladder do still require stepping in or over, so it is worth checking the Accessibility Guide if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
Do you provide cots or high chairs?
Yes, travel cots and high chairs are available on request. Please let us know when booking, and bring your own cot bedding.
Is the pool suitable for children?
Yes, but children must be supervised. The indoor pool is 1.5m deep throughout, with no shallow end, and entry is by ladder with handrails. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Can children use the hot tubs?
Children under 6 are not permitted in the hot tubs. Children aged 6 to 15 must be supervised by an adult. Each cottage has its own private hot tub, so families can use them separately or at the same time.
Can everyone eat together?
There is no single indoor dining table for nine. Fig Tree has dining space for five and Laurel has dining space for four. This suits groups who prefer a flexible rhythm, with some meals together on the patios or in smaller groups indoors.
Is the garden enclosed?
The garden is open rather than fully enclosed. There are no internal fences between the patios and lawn, and the driveway remains open. Children and dogs should be supervised outside.
Split Up for the Day. Regroup by Evening.
Bodnant Garden is around ten minutes away, with gardens, gentler paths and a very good café. Betws-y-Coed and Zip World are around twenty minutes in the other direction. Llandudno’s seafront, pier and Great Orme are within half an hour.
Different members of your group can split for the day and meet back at the pool by evening. Nobody needs to spend the whole holiday in the car, and nobody has to agree on the same plan every day.
