We spent a week at Laurel Cottage and had a fantastic time. The area is beautiful with so much to see and do. Laurel itself has everything you could need for a relaxing stay and we were delighted that our two dogs were made so welcome too. The gardens are tidy and well maintained, the hot tub was fabulous to sit in and admire the view and the swimming pool is a great added feature. It is so peaceful here, the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners have pets themselves including two beautiful horses. During our stay we heard an owl and saw lots of wild rabbits, squirrels and even some bats. Penny and Suzy leave you to your own devices but it’s great to know they are nearby and on hand should you need them. We will definitely revisit.
